Heres some pictures of the house when we first bought it- actually, we took these pictures when we first saw the house-

theres no more mini-wall- or blue carpet. (or carpet period, but we're working on that... but no more cat urine)

my awesome kitchen-

not much has changed out here- we're getting a new front door and shutters this year and i removed the "astroturf" last year-

tile finished! (mostly)

Tile is complete! and we took some pictures around the house with it "cleaned up" so you can see what the place looks like. or should.

We found this cupboard at ikea- the leaf pattern matches our hanging piece in the living room- we try to tie the kitchen and living room together with the study. its an interesting challenge...

Dad removed the hallway door- we're still working on completing the archway- needs some sanding, trimming, priming and gloss paint- It really opens the space up however and makes the hallway feel larger

A clean laundry room! we bought some new plates today. and red containers.

here's that beautiful floor i've been bragging about- I'm sure you're truly impressed.

Laundry room floor-

a dining room table! on a floor! looks awesome doesn't it.

This is the hutch i bought on the internet for the china set- We havent found a lamp yet for the left corner and i need a cloth for under the china- i'm probably going to go with a solid.

i'd invite you over for dinner.... but y'know. i've probably got to work. (;


The quarter round hasn't been put down yet- once i get a 3-4day weekend i'll work on finishing that up. and then, only a new dishwasher and new countertops and the kitchen is complete! we're already looking at new washers and dryers, but i don't anticipate buying one until after the wedding. We are planning on putting the carpet in before the wedding, but we will see what happens. I have a feeling we will need to replace the air conditioner and i think we'd rather have a/c than carpet.

laundry room! it feels much bigger with out appliances. i think i'll just forgo laundry for more space.
